In an effort to reduce confusion, the Thanksgiving holiday week Solid Waste schedule for city crews is changing from recent years.

Garbage and recycle collections will run as normal for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for city customers. However, Thursday and Friday customers will receive collections on Saturday, Nov. 25. Customers are advised to have their cart curbside by 7 a.m. on that day.

Customers serviced by the contractor Inland Waste Solutions will also have normal garbage and recycle collections on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday customers will receive collections on Friday, Nov. 24. Friday customers will receive collections on Saturday, Nov. 25. Customers are advised to have their cart curbside by 7 a.m. on those days.
