Holiday Food Drive for Mid-South Food Bank

Hello neighbors. Our neighborhood will be hosting a food drive for Mid-South Food Bank on December 12th from 11am-4pm at Balmoral Baptist Church (2676 Kirby Road). KSANA will be collecting non-perishable foods (canned or dry goods) and/or monetary donations on behalf of Mid-South Food Bank. If you are able, consider giving what you can. Hope to see you there. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Halloween Hayride!

CANCELLED  – Due to the impending weather Saturday night we have have reluctantly decided to cancel the event for this year.

Check our calendar for upcoming opportunities to gather as neighbors. Happy Fall!

Come join us Oct 26th at 5PM for a neighborhood cookout and hayride. We’ll have hamburgers, hotdogs and all the fixings.

We’ll eat and then take leisurely rides through the neighborhood on an old fashioned hayride.

We eat and start the hayride on Camrose Cove.

Bring your lawn chairs and your best halloween costume!

Closures, Service Changes in Observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

City of Memphis offices, including the Lichterman Nature Center, Memphis Animal Services, libraries, community centers, and aquatic centers, will be closed in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, Jan. 15.

The City will resume normal business hours Tuesday, Jan. 16.

Residents who receive garbage and recycling collections by City crews or its contractor on Mondays should place their cart curbside Tuesday, Jan. 16. All customers will have their collections delayed by one day all week. Friday customers will be serviced Saturday. Customers are advised to have their carts curbside by 7 a.m. on their scheduled collection day.

Holiday closures will not affect the Memphis Police Department and Memphis Fire Services. The Pink Place Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday.

Closures, Service Changes for Labor Day

City of Memphis administrative offices, including Memphis Animal Services, libraries, and community centers, will be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 4.

The City will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

Residents who receive Monday garbage and recycling collections from City crews should place their cart curbside Tuesday, Sept. 5 for collection. Customers are advised to have their cart curbside by 7 a.m. Sept. 5 will be a double collection day with limited collection of yard debris and excess trash outside of the cart. Service times may differ from usual. Customers that receive collections Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday collections are not affected. City residents serviced by contractor Inland Waste will have collections delayed by one day all week because of the holiday.

These closures will not affect the Memphis Police Department, Memphis Fire Services, the Pink Palace Museum, and the Lichterman Nature Center.
